Udo Weith was born in Vienna as the son of the theater painter Andreas Weith. He was the brother of the academic painter Maria (Mizzi) Weith (1884 – 1950).
Udo Weith first attended the August Patek School of Art and in 1916 he moved to the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna under Rudolf Jettmar . He then attended the " master school" under Josef Jungwirth, which he left in 1924, after working temporarily at the School of Applied Arts in Bern and in the restoration department of the Vienna Academy under Professor Seraphin Maurer in 1919. In 1930 he attended R. Klaus's glass painting course at the Vienna School of Applied Arts .
He married on 27. July 1927 with Editha-Anna Kaiser, the daughter of the painter and graphic artist Anton Kaiser (1863 –1944), Vienna.
Udo Weith ran a studio in Kettenbrückengasse and lived at Boltzmanngasse 18, in the ninth district of Vienna. He became a member of the “ Albrecht Dürer Association ” , the “Austrian Society for Christian Art” and the “ Association of Austrian Commercial Artists ” .
His trips to Holland, Germany, Italy, Hungary and Bohemia were followed by many landscape paintings and portraits . He exhibited for the first time in 1920 at the " Baden Art Association - Paintings from the Egerland" and in 1923 still lifes at the Vienna Artists ' House . Further exhibitions followed in 1927, 1929 and 1934, again at the Vienna Artists ' House and from 1930 to 1935 at the Albrecht-Dürer - Bund. He created the painting S. Monica for the Klosterneuburg collegiate church .
Udo Weith died at the age of 38 from myocarditis . He was buried in the honorary grave of the Weith family of artists in the Baumgarten cemetery in Vienna.
In March 1936 , on the occasion of the 35th annual exhibition of the Albrecht Dürer Association , a memorial exhibition for Udo Weith took place.
